Why run for Sibling Support?

By using one of our charity places to run the 2027 TCS London Marathon, you are making a real and direct difference that will be felt by Bereaved Siblings receive across the whole of the UK. You will help us to achieve our commitment of ensuring that EVERY Bereaved Sibling is seen, heard and supported. Every single pound that you raise will be helping us to make that vision a reality. It will help to fund one of our new projects, such as our Bereaved Sibling Ambassadors forum, giving Bereaved Siblings a chance to share their experiences and feelings. It will help to ensure our grief resources reach even further across the country, meaning that no matter where a Bereaved Sibling lives, they know that support is only a few clicks away. AND it will help to ensure that our Bereaved Sibling Days reach even further across the country. Meaning that whatever corner of the UK a Bereaved Sibling lives, they can meet others their age, or just get it.

Fundraising for Sibling Support is a two way process and we really value your support. That’s why, in return for raising funds for us, we will:

• Send you a Sibling Support running vest

• Ensure your marathon story is visible to our social media followers and our newsletter recipients.

• Send you one of our fundraising packs if it is useful to your fundraising. Our packs need to be requested when required and include sponsorship forms, collection tins, banners and anything else you need to ensure your supporters know where their donations are going.

• You will also become part of our fundraising community. We’ll make sure you’re kept up to date with knowing the difference your making to the lives of Bereaved Siblings and will celebrate your achievements with you through your training journey.
